Let’s do a variation on a benchmark WOD:
Linda is normally done with three barbells, but if you’re like me and don’t have a barbell, you can do it with dumbbells. If you have three sets of dumbbells, that will work, or even two sets.
Here’s what we’re gonna do:
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 of each movement
DB Clean (light to medium weight)
DB Bench (medium weight)
DB Deadlift (heavy weight)
Here’s the thing, while this workout is for time, you really REALLY need to pay attention to your form. Doing these movements is more difficult with dumbbells vs barbells. That doesn’t mean it can’t be done. The key is to resist the urge to rush through the movements. Don’t rush this. Take your time and really focus on your form.
Linda is one of those workouts that seems easy on paper. But it’s really more mentally challenging. These times that we’re living in are mentally challenging as well. But I know you can get through this; we all can, together.
